Jessica Chevalier was born and raised on the Western Slope of Colorado, surrounded by nature, mountains, and beauty. Jessica has been passionate about art from a young age. She began pursuing art education in high school, attending local classes, participating in clubs, and showing work in youth art shows. Her formal education began at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, where she majored in Studio Art. While attending college she worked in sales at an art gallery. After college, Jessica began to show her art at local galleries, shows, and festivals. As a mother of three amazing children, she continues to pursue her passion with grace. Jessica’s art is on display and for sale at several Western Colorado galleries and online at JChevalierArt.com.
She believes that people often take the beauty of this world for granted. Through the creation of her work, she hopes to unveil God’s earthly masterpiece in an impressionistic way. Working primarily in oil and acrylic, she uses unique strokes and colors to portray a vivid union of nature and human existence.
